The Aquarium provides a supportive and nurturing collaborative culture. Our team is critical to our success. The Aquarium has made a conscious decision to include our Indigenous and First Nations people within our company values. We follow the actions of our Commitment to Reconciliation statement, on the pathway to a Reconciliation Action Plan. We also actively seek to work with indigenous business owners, balance ratios through hiring and use traditional native catering companies whenever possible.
Our employees thrive when they are a part of our community—that’s why we offer paid volunteer days so they can lend a hand to those in need. The Aquarium also commits to donating life-saving blood and plasma through the LifeBlood service offered by the Australian Red Cross, as well as other charitable donations and services.
